Every book leaves something behind—a new idea, a different perspective, a question worth carrying a little longer. The Cozy Library is a gathering place for books and reflections that have shaped my journey and influenced the creation of The Cozy Nest Way. Some books offer comfort. Others change the way we see the world. Together, they remind us that learning, like life itself, unfolds one page, one season, and one discovery at a time.

The Book of Joy: Lasing Happiness in a Changing Words by Dalai Lama, Desmond Tutu, et. al.

This book moved me to my core. Warm, funny, and deeply human, it brings together the wisdom of two remarkable individuals who endured immense suffering yet chose not to let fear, anger, grief, or despair define who they became. Instead, they offer a different path. Through stories, laughter, and hard-earned insight, they reveal how perspective, humility, humor, acceptance, forgiveness, gratitude, compassion, and generosity can help us transcend life’s inevitable hardships.

What stayed with me long after I finished reading was the reminder that joy is not the absence of suffering. It is the courage to remain openhearted in the midst of it. This is one of the rare books I return to when I find myself forgetting these lessons. When the world feels heavy, divisive, or unkind, its pages remind me to surrender what I cannot control, to rise above anger and resentment, and to choose compassion over bitterness. Each return visit feels less like rereading a book and more like sitting down with wise friends who gently guide me back to what matters most. In a world that often feels divided and uncertain, this book offers hope, wisdom, and a gentle invitation to meet life with greater grace.
